      The preparatory meeting for directors of PDA-China (Polyurea Association in China) organized by Central Asia-Link Exhibition Co., Ltd. Beijing was successfully held at 9 o’clock July 7th 2009 in the conference hall of Beijing Tangshan Building where more than sixty delegates from the mainland, Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia attended the meeting. At the meeting, Ziming Wang, director of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, had delivered an important speech in which he highly praised the remarkable success of polyurea industry in China under the leadership of Prof. Weibo Huang and spoke highly of the delegates who had been doing a lot of job for the foundation of PDA-China. He, on behalf of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association expressed: he’ll fully support the foundation and the development of PDA-China.
      Matters concerning the foundation of PDA-China had been in hot discussion among the attendants and it turned out the results that the bylaw of PDA-China had been agreed on with unanimous hand votes and members of PDA-China had been elected with Prof. Weibo Huang from Qingdao Technological University being the president of PDA-China, Jianming Yu, the director of Yantai Wanhua Beijing Institute, being candidate for the president-elected, Zengke Sun, chairman of Beijing Zhongtong waterproof construction Co., Ltd. being treasurer, Jiakun Shen, general manager of Beijing Huanyalian Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. Beijing, being executive director. Besides, we had elected the honor of having six foreign delegates from American, German, Japan, Malaysia and South Korea as international directors, Mr. Lee Bower as alliance director, 15 companies were nominated as board directors, and other more than 40 companies were nominated membership units. At the end, the meeting was centered on such issues as recent work arrangements, membership fee and the second China Bejing Polyurea Expo & Summit to be taken place in the year of 2010. All the attendee expressed their hopes: the foundation of PDA-China would provide a brand-new platform for information exchange and better cooperation and we can expect to see a more regularized polyurea market and a more brilliant future of polyurea industry.
      In the last more than ten years ever since polyurea was first introduced to China by Prof. Weibo Huang, polyurea has seen great developmed in China and has provide large amounts of business opportunities with the fast growing of China economy and the number of infrastructure projects. Chinese people have successfully impressed the world by the outstanding achievement in polyurea industry. Therefore, it is right the time to set up PDA-China in China.
       We have every confidence to believe, under the leadership and support of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and with the joint efforts of all members of PDA-China, the career of China polyurea, a spark fire as it may looks like past, would finally turned into a prairie fire once the condition is right. And the foundation of PDA-China provides this right condition.
